I started making art 15 years ago, and for the first few years focused on glass mosaics. When I moved to Qatar to teach for two years, I turned to polymer clay to satisfy my need to create, as it was lighter and fit better in my suitcase.
I love the vibrant colors and the ability to mix and make more colors.
In the fall of 2017 I moved to from California to the Poconos in Pennsylvania, turning my new garage into a studio. Soon after, I discovered glass fusing and alcohol ink painting, so now I do all three in my studio. The beauty of the Poconos serves as inspiration for my creations. When I am not creating, I am a substitute teacher.
I am a member of the Pocono Mountain Arts Council.
