I started making art 15 years ago, and for the first few years, focused on glass mosaics. When I moved to Qatar to teach, I turned to polymer clay to satisfy my need to create, because I needed a light material to take with me, and I loved the vibrant colors.
In the fall of 2017, I moved from California to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and turned my new garage into a studio. Soon after, I discovered glass fusing and alcohol ink painting, Just lately I started doing acrylic pours.
The beauty of the Poconos serves as inspiration for my creations. When I am not creating, I am a substitute teacher.
I am a member of the Pocono Mountain Arts Council.
